All Tai Chi & Qigong for Health classes and workshops are suitable for both beginners and for more advanced students who aim to progress beyond beginnner's level through an "In Depth Study of Tai Chi for Health" and to learn new styles and forms for a modern Tai Chi & Qigong for Health.
Classes and workshops include an introduction to Tai Chi for Health “short forms” which have been specially adapted from SUN, YANG and CHEN styles to make the “magic” of Tai Chi as a health art accessible to a wider range of people who are interested in a gentle, safe and effective form of exercise which has been based on a modern duty-of-care with mind-body co-ordination and focus.
These short forms of a modern Tai chi for Health, as distinct from traditional Tai Chi Chuan martial arts long forms, are relatively easier to learn and follow as they have been created especially for health which includes the most popular Tai Chi for Health short form in the world. the Yang 24 Bejing Form. This short form was created in 1956 by the People's Republic of China especially to assist in enhancing health, wellbeing and fitness in the broader population.

Tai Chi & Qigong for Health has a MODERN FOCUS on health, fitness and well-being of the individual student, on a safe and effective form of exercise, and not on martial or combat performance as in traditional styles of Tai Chi Chuan practiced as a martial art for self defence.
